Ireland’s newest luxury hotel, The Address Sligo, today announces the opening of its highly anticipated spa, offering guests an immersive wellness retreat designed to echo the beauty of Sligo’s landscapes (Wednesday, 6th November,). The boutique hotel which picked up two Irish Hotel Awards last month, invites guests to experience a coastal-inspired journey, complete with a state-of-the-art wellness suite and elegant treatment rooms.

In a celebration of local luxury, the spa has partnered with Sligo-based GAIA Skincare, a brand renowned for its commitment to natural, sustainable wellness. Treatments have been thoughtfully crafted with holistic wellness in mind, offering services designed to rejuvenate body and mind. Guests can enjoy GAIA’s tailored rituals, which include soothing facials, therapeutic massages, and holistic body therapies infused with GAIA’s signature plant-based actives and essential oils.

The Thermal Suite lies at the heart of the Address Sligo wellness experience, designed to invigorate and awaken the senses. Guests can unwind in a tropical shower, herb-infused Finnish sauna, heated loungers, a cold-water plunge pool, and an enchanting Secret Garden with an outdoor whirlpool. Completing the experience are two tranquil treatment rooms and a state-of-the-art gym, where GAIA Skincare’s eco-conscious, luxurious products are featured in each bespoke therapy.

The spa’s interiors, with their natural textures and materials, draw inspiration from Sligo’s stunning rugged coastline and the building’s heritage, creating a serene environment where guests can fully unwind. 

Hotel guests and day visitors alike can access the Thermal Suite for €40 per person for a two-hour experience, with complimentary entry included with 55-minute treatments. 

GAIA Skincare, inspired by Gaia—the ancient Greek goddess symbolising Mother Nature —is handmade using traditional methods and features three signature blends: Awakening, Balancing, and Calming, each providing a unique sensory journey. The hotel has also created a series of packages to complete your wellness journey, tailored to each of GAIA’s signature blends.  Guests can choose face and body packages that energise, boost circulation and leave refreshed (Awakening), harmonise and alleviate stress and tension (Balancing) or a tranquil and uplifting experience to calm the body and mind (Calming) all priced from €140, with options to add an overnight stay for a complete wellness escape.  

Nestled along the Wild Atlantic Way, The Address Sligo is owned by hoteliers Brian and Ciara McGettigan. The location offers easy access to scenic beaches, surfing spots, and nature trails, positioning the hotel as an ideal West of Ireland escape.
