London-based operator behind Los Mochis, Sale e Pepe and LUNA Omakase, records 58.53% compound annual growth and £37.8m in sales, with 350 new jobs planned in the next 12 months
9th June 2026: Thesleff Group has been named one of the UK’s 100 fastest growing businesses by the Sunday Times in its 2026 list. The Group is the only luxury restaurant operator to feature, in a list dominated by technology, finance and professional services companies.
The accolade reflects a period of significant growth for the business. Thesleff Group recorded sales of £37.8 million in the financial year ending December 2025, representing a three-year compound annual growth rate of 58.53% from a base of £9.5 million in 2022. The Group is projecting turnover of £64.7 million for 2026 and has committed to creating 350 new jobs over the next 12 months.
The growth has been driven by the continued expansion of the Group’s London portfolio. In 2026 so far, the Group launched Sale e Pepe Mare at The Langham, London, and MA/NA in Mayfair, further extending its portfolio of design-led, experience-driven restaurant concepts. LUNA Omakase, launched in 2025, has since expanded its offering to meet demand.

Looking ahead, Thesleff Group is focused on international growth. Plans are underway to launch Los Mochis Beverly Hills, among other US destinations to be announced shortly, marking the brand’s first foray into the North American market.
Markus Thesleff, Founder and CEO, adds: “We are honoured to be amongst so many incredible entrepreneurs and founders. Hospitality is often underestimated in the UK, but we see it differently. We believe we’re in the entertainment business as much as the hospitality business. Today, time is the ultimate luxury, and people are increasingly selective about where they choose to spend it. Where people choose to eat and drink is an extension of their personal brand, and we take this trust very seriously. Since launching the group less than five years ago, we’ve focused on creating experiences, not just restaurants. Every concept is built around a strong point of view, exceptional quality and a sense of theatre that gives people a reason to return. Being recognised alongside some of the UK’s most ambitious businesses is a reflection of the incredible team behind the brand. We’re still at the beginning of what we want to achieve, and our ambition remains as big as ever.”

Thesleff Group was founded by Markus Thesleff, a hospitality entrepreneur with a track record spanning London, the US, Spain and Dubai. Prior to establishing Thesleff Group, Markus was behind OKKU and co-created the Pangaea nightclub brand. His approach centres on high-quality dining within design-led, immersive environments.
