Pierre Koffmann to inaugurate a new programme of one-night-only dinners celebrating some of Britain’s most influential chefs

This autumn,74 Charlotte Street by Ben Murphy will launch Ben & Friends, a new chef collaboration series bringing together some of the UK’s most respected culinary talent for a collection of exclusive one-night-only dinners. Showcasing collaborations between Ben and the chefs who have shaped his career and inspired his cooking, the series is set to become a highlight of London’s dining scene.

Launching the series on Tuesday 15th September is acclaimed French chef Pierre Koffmann, who reunites with his former protégé Ben Murphy for an exclusive collaborative dinner at 74 Charlotte Street. One of the most influential chefs of his generation, Koffmann has helped shape modern British gastronomy through a career spanning more than five decades. Guests will begin with Pissaladière, followed by Crab Salad with Granny Smith apple and cucumber, before enjoying Lobster Ravioli with Bouillabaisse. Koffmann’s iconic Pig’s Trotter à la Pierre Koffmann will take centre stage before the meal concludes with his celebrated Pistachio Soufflé. The experience will finish with a selection of petit fours, including Tarte au Citron and Madeleine.

Priced at £250 per person, with an optional £95 wine pairing, the dinner offers guests the rare opportunity to experience Pierre Koffmann and Ben Murphy side by side again, presenting an exclusive menu that celebrates their shared culinary journey and distinctive styles.

Following the inaugural dinner with Pierre Koffmann, Ben & Friends will continue throughout the year with a series of exclusive collaborations featuring some of the industry’s most celebrated chefs. Each guest chef will join Ben Murphy to create a one-of-a-kind menu that reflects their distinctive culinary style and shared inspirations.
